The Romney campaign released a new ad on Sunday attacking Obama for the economy’s poor performance by seizing the latest unemployment numbers released Friday. Called “It’s Just Not Getting Better,” the ad says that the economy isn’t improving under Obama and that Romney has “a plan for a stronger middle class.” Employers added 163,000 jobs in July, the best job-creation number in the last five months, but the unemployment rate ticked up slightly to 8.3 percent.
