The Romney campaign attacks President Obama over spending and government debt in a new ad released Monday, reports National Journal. The ad shows two columns with one representing median household income falling by $4,000 under President Obama and the second showing the national debt growing under Obama.

The ad shows Mitt Romney on the stump promising to cut spending and the debt and ends with a narrator saying: “Barack Obama: more spending, more debt, failing American families.”

The Romney campaign also released a positive spot Monday, in which Romney explains his three-party plan to help the middle class.
