A Texas woman has been arrested in connection with the ricin-laced letters that were addressed to President Barack Obama, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Bloomberg-led pro-gun control outfit Mayors Against Illegal Guns, NBC News reported Friday.

According to Pete Williams of NBC, authorities have arrested Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson of New Boston, Texas. The arrest was reportedly made in Arkansas.

Richardson had originally informed law enforcement that her husband was behind the letters. But after FBI searched their home and subjected the couple to a series of interviews and polygraph examinations, the woman was identified as a suspect.
