Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is scheduled to deliver her farewell address Tuesday to reflect on the past four-and-a-half years in the Obama administration before she begins her next chapter as head of the University of California system.
The speech is expected to begin at 10 a.m. ET at the National Press Club in Washington.
Napolitano announced last month that she will be resigning from her post at the Department of Homeland Security. On the same day she announced her resignation, the former governor of Arizona was tapped as the next president of the UC system. She is expected to begin her tenure next month.
