Purdue University’s board of trustees voted unanimously on Thursday to elect Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels as the new president of the university, the Indianapolis Star reports. Daniels will replace France Cordova, who is stepping down in July. Daniels will assume the position after he leaves office in January.
