Miss. Officials Plan To Breach Damaged Dam On Tangipahoa River

The Times-Picayune reports:

Mississippi officials are planning a controlled breach of a dam on the Tangipahoa River in Pike County inundated by Isaac to prevent massive flooding from Kentwood to Robert, Gov. Bobby Jindal said Thursday. The dam is in imminent danger of failing, which could send 17 feet of water to Kentwood within 90 minutes, Jindal said.
