Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” on Sunday mocked the male Microsoft CEO’s recent advice for women looking for a raise.
“It’s not really about asking for a raise, but knowing and having faith that the system will give you the right raise,” Satya Nadella said at a Thursday conference.
“That might be one of the initial ‘super powers,’ that quite frankly, women [who] don’t ask for a raise have,” Nadella continued. “It’s good karma. It will come back.”
He later apologized for his “inarticulate” comment.
But on Sunday Brzezinski joked that she was following his advice.
Getting ready for another week. Will put my head down and work hard and Ill just hope for some good karma. ???#happysunday
