Michigan House Passes Right-To-Work Law Amid Massive Protests

The Michigan House passed right-to-work legislation Tuesday as protestors booed inside the capital and thousands gathered to protest on the lawn outside, the Detroit Free Press reports. The final vote was 58 to 51. The bill now heads to Gov. Rick Snyder’s desk. 

According to the paper’s live blog, onlookers in the gallery booed. The number of protestors at the capital now exceeds 12,000, according to Reuters.
