Mexico President Felipe Calderon called President Obama’s new immigration policy granting immunity and temporary legal status to some young undocumented immigrants “unprecedented” and said it took “valor and courage,” per a White House pool report from the G20 summit meeting in Mexico.

Calderon also “said he’s sure many families in the U.S. thank Mr. Obama for the decision as well,” per the pool report.
