In an appearance on MSNBC Tuesday morning, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, who is considered a top contender for the vice presidential nomination and one of the few prospects to express interest in the job, said that he has not given the Romney campaign anything as part of the vetting process.

“Have you had to turn over anything to the Romney campaign yet? Have they asked for anything?” Chuck Todd asked McDonnell.

“Nope,” McDonnell said. “But I’m gonna do everything I can to help him win Virginia.”
