Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Friday called on the Republican Party to unite after its 2012 elections defeat. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington, D.C., McConnell said conservatives shouldn’t whine about the loss.

“Conservatives were never meant to be part of the crybaby caucus,” he said.
