Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), a chief advocate of broadening U.S. involvement in Syria, took a dig at a comment made by Secretary of State John Kerry Monday morning that described a proposed U.S. missile strike against Assad’s regime as “unbelievably small.”

Looking to garner international support at a press conference in London, Kerry described military action currently under debate in Congress as an “unbelievably small, limited kind of effort.”
