Mark Sanford’s congressional campaign on Tuesday released its latest ad that highlights his conservative record from a gubernatorial tenure perhaps best known for a bizarre case of infidelity.
The spot features a number of individuals rattling off a laundry list of Sanford’s conservative bona fides as governor. An ad from Sanford’s campaign last week addressed his extramarital affair, which drew nationwide attention in 2009 when he disappeared from South Carolina. A former congressman, he is running for his old House seat in South Carolina’s 1st District.
