The Indianapolis Star reports:

U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and his wife, Charlene, have filed an appeal of a Marion County Election Board decision that they could not vote using their former address on Indianapolis’ Westside.

The appeal was filed Monday in Marion Circuit Court, where Judge Louis Rosenberg presides. An emergency hearing was set for March 30.

The Lugars’ complaint seeks judicial review of the Election Board’s 2-1 decision by arguing that the board acted against the Indiana Constitution and state law.
