LeBron James Is Also Hawking As Deadline Nears


The ad will start airing next week on ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBAtv, a White House official told TPM. It is part of a $52 million paid media campaign covering the second half of Obamacare enrollment, Jan. 1 to March 31.

James's endorsement is part of the Obama administration's broader effort to promote the law before the March 31 deadline, with the messages particularly geared toward young adults. President Barack Obama has been interviewed by comedian Zach Galifianakis and TV host Ryan Seacrest this week, and an online video with celebrity moms urging young people to sign up for coverage debuted Friday.
