Economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman will square off with MSNBC commentator Joe Scarborough in Monday’s episode of “Charlie Rose,” the Politico Playbook reported.

Scarborough, a conservative deficit hawk, has been involved in a number of public debates with the liberal Krugman, primarily on topics related to government spending. Last month, Scarborough asserted on air that Krugman is as extreme on the debt as National Rifle Association chief Wayne LaPierre is on issues related to guns.

The episode of “Charlie Rose” will be taped Monday and will air the same day at 11 p.m. ET on WNET in New York City, WETA and WHUT in Washington, D.C., as well as more than 200 other PBS affiliates, according to Politico.
