NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong-un watched a basketball game together in Pyongyang, North Korea on Thursday. The Chicago Bulls’ star traveled to North Korea as part of a “Basketball Diplomats” group organized by VICE, a Brooklyn-based youth group and subject of an upcoming HBO series.

“You have a friend for life,” Rodman told the North Korean leader after the game, according to a VICE statement.

Ryan Duffy, a correspondent for VICE who joined Rodman on the trip, invited Jong-un to visit the United States, but the bid was reportedly met with laughter.
