Jon Stewart, avowed Donald Trump lover, tried on Wednesday night to step away from the deluge of news about the Republican presidential candidate to focus on “important news” that “The Daily Show” missed with what he admitted was some “incessant Trump gazing.”
Namely, the nuclear deal with Iran, and Greece’s economic turmoil.
Stewart tried to figure out how the historic Iran deal could have pleased congressional Republicans.
“Ah, yes. A better deal would be better,” Stewart said.
But these days everything comes back to Trump – even Iran.
