Comedian John Oliver took a break from politics on Sunday to test his schtick on world-renowned chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall.

As part of his ongoing feature, “Great Minds: People Who Think Good,” Oliver asked the groundbreaking primatologist to review his ideas for chimpanzee nicknames.

“Jessica Chimpson,” he began, to disapproval from Goodall. “Poothrow Wilson,” he continued.

“It’s alright,” she said with a shrug. “That’s fine. If you want to have ‘Poothrow,’ somebody else –“

Oliver saw his opening: “Jane, who do you think needs poo thrown at them?”

Goodall said she would pick someone like Hitler.

“Poothrow Hitler is an amazing name for a chimp,” Oliver said.

“Fantastic,” she agreed.

The interview ended with Goodall attempting to teach a stubborn Oliver some chimp communication skills, such as asking for food. When Oliver finally got the hang of it, she rejected him.

“I ain’t giving you any, I don’t like you,” she said.
