Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) said Wednesday that his presidential campaign won’t drag on “like some band of minstrels” if he doesn’t do well in the New Hampshire primary next week, Bloomberg reported.
“If we don’t do well, we’re not going to be dragging around like some band of minstrels who beg people to come to our show,” Kasich said at a Bloomberg Politics event in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Kasich, who has invested extensive time and campaign resources in New Hampshire, finished the Iowa caucus with 1.86 percent of the votes.
That being said, if things do go well for Kasich, he told CNN on Tuesday that he would work to reunite Pink Floyd as President and get them to play “Money” to honor America’s troubled finances.
“That’s better than ‘Uncomfortably Numb,'” CNN host Dana Bash joked, referencing another Pink Floyd smash hit.
“Well, we may be uncomfortably numb when we’re done with New Hampshire, we’ll see,” Kasich quipped.
