Comedian Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday found material in the exchange that reportedly occurred between House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) during tense fiscal cliff negotiations.
According to a report published in Politico, Boehner said “go fuck yourself” to Reid in response to a scathing floor address by the senior senator from Nevada last Friday.
“Then on top of that, Republicans told Reid that if he does eff himself, they won’t pay for his contraception,” Fallon said during the opening monologue of his NBC show, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
