Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) on Sunday responded to a question about the 2016 presidential election by suggesting that journalists’ ceaseless interest in the far-off elections is like a crack addiction.

Host David Gregory asked Bush on NBC’s “Meet the Press” if he or Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is more likely to end up in the White House.

“Man, you guys are crack addicts,” Bush responded. “You really are obsessed with all this politics. Marco Rubio’s a great guy.”

“You know I’ve been called a lot of things,” Gregory responded.

“Ok, heroine addict,” Bush said. “Is that better?”
