After a week in which he faced a grilling from reporters on the buregoning controversies involving the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Justice, as well as the investigation into the attack in Benghazi, Libya, White House press secretary Jay Carney said he isn’t frazzled.

“Honestly, I find it enjoyable,” Carney said, according to the New York Times. “I find it challenging. It’s hard, but it’s better than 45 to 60 minutes of calling on reporters who are kind of sleepy and disinterested. For me personally, it has been a good week.”

Some of Carney’s responses to questions have earned him mockery, from both the press and Republicans. But the journalist-turned-spokesman has insisted that he relishes the intense line of questioning. At a press briefing on Wednesday, Carney urged reporters to “ask more questions.”
