Janine Turner, an actress and talk show host, said that President Obama does not believe in the American Dream or an “independent people” in her speech at the Republican National Convention Tuesday night.
“Mitt Romney will preserve this exceptional american legacy,” Turner said. “Barack Obama will destroy it. Obama is stifling the American Dream, primarily because it is not his dream.”
Turner went on: “His dream is not of an independent people. His dream is of a dependent people, based on the principles of antiquated government.”
