Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) took the stage at the Values Voter Summit in Washington Saturday and delivered a stern rebuke of President Obama as a strong defense of the immigration bill she signed into law.

“Failure is a hallmark” of the Obama administration, Brewer said.

Of her state’s controversial immigration law — which the Obama administration has taken on in federal court, Brewer said critics of the law don’t understand it.

“Despite what you’ve heard from the administration, we’re protecting civil rights and racial profiling will not be tolerated,” she said.
