Investigators looking for evidence in the Boston Marathon bombing searched a landfill in New Bedford, Mass., on Thursday, in the hopes of finding a laptop belonging to one of the suspects, according to The New York Times

Law enforcement officials told the Times that investigators have been looking for the laptop for several days. The Times’ report did not specify which brother owned the laptop being sought.

The laptop may have been thrown out, officials believe, and the landfill searched on Thursday is near the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where the younger suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was a student. Tsarnaev, who was charged in the attack earlier this week, was moved from a Boston hospital to a prison on Friday.
