House Democrats pushed for an extension of the Bush tax cuts for households making under $250,000 per year at a news conference Wednesday following a Democratic caucus meeting.

“Everyone, and we mean everyone, should get $250,000 in tax breaks,” Rep. John Larson (D-CT), chairman of the Democratic caucus, said. “And everyone is in agreement with that. Even the Republicans… Where we disagree, let us push that off. Where we agree, let us embrace.”

President Obama is beginning an online push for the same extension Wednesday.
