After weeks of late-night television appearances, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton finally stopped by the Los Angeles-based “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to talk about Republican rival Jeb Bush and if she could beat her husband.
As for Jeb’s latest campaign reset, the former Secretary of State remained diplomatic on Thursday night’s episode.
“He’s a very accomplished man and he’s out there making his case,” Clinton told host Jimmy Kimmel. “Running for president is really hard. Some days are better than other days.”
Clinton thinks she could beat her husband, former President Bill Clinton, if the Constitution would let him run again.
“I think he’s a terrific campaigner,” Clinton told Kimmel. “He would run again. I don’t want you to tell anyone that, but he would.”
You need a “kind of confidence” if you’re trying to be President, she said. “If I were gonna run against him, would I win? Yeah!”
The former First Lady also met with a group of children as a part of “Kimmel Kids: Out of Focus Group” on the feasibility of a female president.
