Harry Reid To Vote For Assault Weapons Ban

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) on Wednesday announced over Twitter that he will vote in favor of an amendment to reinstate the federal ban on assault weapons.

Reid said last month that he would drop the assault weapons ban from the Senate’s gun legislation because it lacked sufficient support. The amendment’s prospects remain dim.
