Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) asked former Sen. Chuck Hagel on Thursday to once again explain his previous comments in which he warned America about the influence of the “Jewish lobby.”
“I regret saying Jewish lobby,” Hagel said at a Sentate confirmation hearing to lead the Defense Department. “I should have said pro-Israel lobby.”
