Sen. Chuck Grassley will defend his questions about whether the White House Office of Advance had any involvement in the Secret Service prostitution scandal during a hearing with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, according to a copy of his prepared remarks.

A White House Counsel’s Office review found that no staffers had any involvement with the prostitution scandal, but Grassley said that’s not enough.

“This is not a fishing expedition; it is a logical extension of the Secret Service investigation,” Grassley will say. “Given the serious national security concerns that any vulnerability in the President’s protection could come from having unauthorized guests, we need to get to the bottom of this and the White House should cooperate immediately.”
