Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) has laid down a key condition for whether he will attend the Republican National Convention in Tampa: He wants a key speaking slot.

“If Dean Heller is offered a prime time speaking role, he’ll be there,” Heller campaign manager Mac Abrams told the Las Vegas Sun. “If not, he has a campaign to run.”

An RNC official would not confirm to the paper whether Heller would have a speaking role.
