Google Unveils Nexus 7 Tablet

Google unveiled its first branded tablet, the Google Nexus 7 manufactured by Asus, at its I/O developers conference on Wednesday. The tablet has a 7-inch screen, a 1280 x 800 HD display, a Tegra 3 chipset, a quad-core CPU, 12-core GPU, 9 hours of battery life, and weighs 340 grams, about as much as a paperback book. It runs the new version of Android, Jelly Bean, or 4.1.
