Google Took Turkey’s President For Ride In Self-Driving Car

Google co-founder Sergey Brin, lately seen wearing a prototype of the company’s hotly-anticipated computerized glasses (Project Glass) on California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newson’s Current TV show, also recently showed off advanced unreleased Google technology to another pol.

On Tuesday, Brin posted a photo taken with the Google glasses on his Google Plus profile. The photo shows Turkish President Abdullah Gül riding in of one of the company’s prototype “self-driving” cars, an impromptu jaunt that occurred when Gül visited Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, CA in late May.  From left: Gül, Google Project Glass engineer Sebastian Thrun, and Google self-driving business divsion head Anthony Levandowski.
