Google Gets New Satellite Imagery Of Beijing Air Pollution, North Korea Nuclear Site

Google this week obtained new satellite imagery of two areas of interest in East Asia — Beijing, China, on January 11, one day of several recently during which the metropolis experienced record high levels of air pollution; and, from January 29, new imagery of a North Korean nuclear test site. Both new satellite image sets came from the company DigitalGlobe and Google has made them available as downloadable Google Earth files.
