Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich repeated his attack that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was invested in Freddie Mac, and that he made over a million dollars off of selling his shares. “Maybe he should tell us how much money he’s made off of how many households that have been foreclosed by his investments,” Gingrich charged.

But Romney said that Gingrich is even more guilty on that charge — not only did he work for Freddie Mac, he has some shares as well. “I know that sounds like an enormous revelation, but have you checked your own investments?” Romney asked rhetorically. “You also have investments in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.”
