Apparently putting to bed murmurs that Newt Gingrich’s unorthodox press conference tonight might foreshadow the end of his presidential bid, his campaign is out with a press release announcing its schedule for the next several days, including appearances in upcoming primary states Colorado, Minnesota, and Ohio. Gingrich will also speak at conservative gathering CPAC next week where, coincidentally, Mitt Romney ended his 2008 campaign.
In addition, an e-mail to supporters sent shortly afteward said that they “still have 45 states to go.”
