Gingrich: My Ads Are ‘A Nice Contrast’ To Romney’s

Fresh from appearing on CBS to call Mitt Romney a liar for claiming he’s not involved in the Super PAC advertisements hammering Newt Gingrich across Iowa, the former House Speaker appeared on the local radio station Star 102.5.

The questions were pretty softball (we learned, for instance, that Gingrich’s favorite Iowa food is deep-fried kettle chips in nacho sauce with bacon). However, it gave Gingrich a chance to double down on his assault. He did so this time by emphasizing the “positive” nature of his own advertising in the state, which he said made “a nice contrast” with Mitt Romney’s “consistent” negative attack ads.
