With the Iowa caucuses 15 days away, the Gingrich campaign has put $240k towards an ad buy in the state to get pro-Gingrich ads up on the airwaves. Politico reports:

He’s on networks with a 30-second buy across five Iowa markets — Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Sioux City, Quad Cities and Mason City — with the largest presence in the capital to the tune of about 1000 points.

Newt is also on cable in Iowa, buying ads on Fox, ESPN and the History Channel.

Despite the new buy, he’s still behind Romney and Perry in terms of Iowa air time.
