If he’s not the nominee, Newt Gingrich wants to help elect the GOP nominee in the fall campaign, he said on Fox News Sunday. In fact, Newt said, he’s already spoken with RNC chair Reince Priebus and offered his services.

“If I end up not being the nominee, I’ve already talked to chairman Reince Priebus of the Republican National Committee,” Gingrich said. “I want to work this fall to help defeat Obama in any way I could. Whatever the team thinks I can do to be helpful I will do.”
