Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords (D-AZ), who was seriously wounded in the 2011 shooting in Tucson, Ariz. that left six people dead, is expected to testify at Wednesday’s hearing on gun control before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Washington Post reported.
Mark Kelly, the husband of Giffords, is already scheduled to testify before the panel, along with the National Rifle Association’s chief executive Wayne LaPierre.
According to the Post, Giffords will address the committee before Kelly and other witnesses begin their testimony. She will reportedly take no questions from the Senators.
