German Chancellor Angela Merkel landed in Greece on Tuesday for her first visit since the Eurocrisis erupted there, Reuters reports. Security has been greatly increased for Merkel’s visit. About 7,000 police officers are on duty and public protests have been banned in areas to “protect the peace,” according to the BBC.
