Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera lashed out at author and columnist Dan Savage on Thursday, lobbing a casual “fxck you, jerk off,” at Savage for ribbing Fox News after Britol Palin announced she was pregnant.
The exchange kicked off after Mediaite tweeted a post that quoted Savage on Palin’s pregnancy. The sex columnist asked what the conesrvative channel’s reaction would be if Palin was anyone else’s daughter.
“Fxck you jerk off,” Rivera tweeted at Mediaiate’s account, apparently addressing Savage. “Fox news doesn’t have a reaction to anyone’s pregnancy.”
Savage jumped in from his own account: “Fxck you?”
As of Friday morning, the Fox newsman had not tweeted anything since.
Last fall, Rivera told his critics on Facebook that they were “little pieces of shit hiding in the shadows of your mother’s basement.”
