George W. Bush: Snowden ‘Damaged The Security Of The Country’

President George W. Bush said NSA Leaker Ed Snowden “damaged the security of the country” in a CNN interview with Robyn Curnow that aired Monday.

“I know he damaged the country and the Obama administration will deal with it.” Bush said from Zambia, where he and Laura Bush were working on their humanitarian mission. “I think he damaged the security of the country.”

He added, “I put the program in place to protect the country and one of the certainties is civil liberties were guaranteed,” Bush said.
