The super PAC supporting President Obama’s re-election campaign will be picking up another big name from Democratic presidential politics. From the New York Times:

Mary Beth Cahill, who was the campaign manager for Senator John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid, is joining the effort to help re-elect President Obama as an adviser to the leading “super PAC” supporting him.

Ms. Cahill, who has spent the last year as director of the Washington office of the United Auto Workers, will become a top adviser to Priorities USA Action, the leading Democratic super PAC that works exclusively to help re-elect the president.

Priorities USA Action already boasts a top adviser to Bill Clinton’s presidential runs, Paul Begala. The group is led by Bill Burton, a former top aide to President Obama. The group has struggled to keep up with its Republican rivals on fundraising, though it has already begun running negative campaign ads targeting Mitt Romney.
