Numbers are all over the place in the polling of the Republica race in Florida — a new survey from American Research Group (ARG) shows former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney up by seven in the GOP primary over former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, 41 – 34. The two men have seesawed in the public polls released after Gingrich’s win in the South Carolina primary on Saturday, and the race looks to be neck and neck ahead of the January 31st vote. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum gets nine percent and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) sees seven.

The ARG poll reverses the trend in our TPM Poll Average, which now shows Romney in the lead by 3.7 percent after Gingrich was up briefly.
