Republican Jeff Flake launched a new ad Thursday in the surprisingly close Arizona Senate race, going after Democrat Richard Carmona on past allegations of anger management issues — and a recent joke he made at the expense of CNN’s Candy Crowley.
“The man behind the shiny bio?” an announcer says. “Press says that Richard Carmona doesn’t work well with others. He’s called a ‘bully’ and more. Carmona repeatedly demeans women,” with the on-screen text referencing a news article about the Candy Crowley incident.
‘He supports Obamacare, job-killing taxes, massive government — just like Obama. And Carmona lost his job for letting exploding costs sink a government institution — just like, Obama?”
