At a Tuesday morning press conference, FBI special agent Rick DesLauriers commended residents of Boston and Massachusetts for the high volume of tips law enforcement has received on the deadly bombings that erupted near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
“We have received voluminous tips over the last 18 hours since the incident,” DesLauries said, while encouraging people to contact the FBI’s tip line if they have any other information to offer.
Later in the press conference, DesLauries told reporters that he can’t elaborate on the substance of the tips.
