The conservative Family Research Council’s political arm compares Vice President Joe Biden and Paul Ryan on social issues as well as torture, the death penalty and immigration in a voter guide released Tuesday, ahead of Thursday’s vice presidential debate.
“For the first time in American history, two Catholic vice- presidential candidates are squaring off for America’s second highest office,” a press release from FRC Action read. “While both Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) cite their shared faith as informing their positions, on many issues they could not be further apart.”
FRC Action will hold a press conference in Kentucky Thursday morning to discuss the guide.
