Spirit of Faith Community, a “religious left” Christian group, says that it will target Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) over her opposition to Obama’s jobs plan. The group is planning a Wednesday demonstration at the candidate’s office in Woodbury, Minnesota using the biblical story of loaves and fishes to convince her to support a tax increase on the wealthy in order to stimulate the economy.
“Jesus would support this bill,” Brandon Nessen, the group’s spokesman told The Minnesota Independent. “Ask the wealthiest to contribute so that ordinary families can get back on two feet again.”
